what is the social society?

Welcome to The Social Society—a community built for connection. We created The Social Society because we saw something missing: a space where adults could truly connect beyond the 9-to-5 grind.

Here, it’s all about turning strangers into friends and everyday moments into unforgettable experiences. From hands-on classes and curated tastings to relaxed happy hours and everything in between, we’ve got something for everyone.

We believe in the magic of shared moments. Whether you’re sipping the perfect glass of wine, learning a new skill, or simply enjoying good company, The Social Society is where great stories begin.

Come be part of the moments that matter—where connections are made, laughter flows, and life feels a little fuller.

Meet the Owners

Caroline McCabe

As the co-owner of Talking Social, a social media marketing business, and co-founder of The Social Society, I thrive on building connections—both online and in person. I’ve always believed in the power of community, which is why our social events are designed to bring people together through unique classes, tastings, happy hours, and more.

When I’m not brainstorming creative marketing campaigns or planning our next big event, you’ll find me at home with my fiancé and our playful cockapoo, Bogey, enjoying the little moments that make life special. I love getting to meet new people, brainstorm new ideas, and create experiences that leave a lasting impact.

Logan McCabe

As the co-owner of The Social Society, I enjoy hosting events that bring people together. Paired with my work in social media marketing as a co-owner of Talking Social, I’m driven by the art of connection—whether it’s creating impactful online strategies or organizing memorable gatherings like tastings, classes, and mixers.

For me, there’s nothing better than seeing people form genuine bonds and enjoy new experiences. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my cockapoo, Louie, and needlepointing! I’m always on the lookout for fresh ideas, meeting new faces, and finding ways to spark creativity and collaboration.
